How will you describe Underground Railway?
Underground Railroad: Underground railway is a railway system running beneath the ground in order to save space...
Underground railway is a railway system running beneath the ground in order to save space; it is therefore found in many of the world’s largest and most crowded cities. The first-built and most extensive underground railway is in London, where the system covers almost 400 km (248 miles) with 273 stations. Although the very first underground trains were hauled by steam locomotives, all such railways now use electric power because this does not produce any fumes and allows the tunnels to be made smaller.
