Cornstarch Finger Paint

Cornstarch_Finger_PaintFinger painting is a tradition in all early childhood programs, and is often an activity that many children have never done before entering school.

*Here is a successful recipe for cornstarch finger paint:

*You Will Need: Saucepan; mixing spoon; 8 parts water; 1 part cornstarch; food coloring.

*What You Do:

*Bring the water to a boil and dissolve the cornstarch in the water while stirring.

*Bring the water to a boil again.

*Add the food coloring until you have reached the color of your choice.

*(Cooled paint will be slightly thicker; good for brush painting as well as finger painting.)
