What Book Is the Statue of Liberty Holding?

What Book Is the Statue of Liberty Holding? The Statue of Liberty holds the tablet of law in the left hand. This tablet is inscribed with the date of the American Declaration of Independence, “July 4, 1776, written on it in Roman numerals (July IV, MDCCLXXVI).”

The copper statue is 151 feet (46 meters) tall and weighs 225 tons. It stands on a pedestal that is 154 feet (47 meters) high. An elevator inside the pedestal takes sightseers to the base of the statue.

From there, a spiral staircase consisting of 171 steps leads up to the crown, where visitors can look out. The Statue of Liberty’s nose is four and a half feet (1.5 meters) long. How tall are you by comparison?
