Where Does Coffee Come From?

Where Does Coffee Come From?

Coffee comes from the coffee tree, which grows in such warm lands as Brazil and Central America. The trees bear red berries, and each berry contains two coffee beans.

The beans are roasted, ground, and then brewed with hot water to make coffee. Instant coffee is made by brewing great amounts of coffee, then evaporating the water from the brew.

The remaining brown powder can be made into coffee again by adding hot water. Coffee contains a stimulant called caffeine, which can keep you from sleeping well. Caffeine can be removed from coffee.
