Heavy Machinery

This happened to us as once our 10 year old daughter, Lisa, had a bad cold and was home from school.

I called to ask how she was feeling and she said better, so I asked if she could do the vacuuming.

Lisa replied, “I don’t think I should. I took one of the pills you left for me and it says: may cause drowsiness—do not use heavy machinery.”

Little child somewhere in me was amused and felt how clever my child is and laughing,

I took her leave and narrated the incident to my fellow colleagues they all laughed throughout the day.
