Music Class

Music_ClassOnce when I was small, about five years old, during summer vacations a very funny thing happened. As usual my mother had gone out to leave my sister to her music class. It was opposite to our house.

Ten minutes later, I went out to see if my mother had returned. She hadn’t. “Mom should have come by now.”, I thought. For the first time in my life I decided to cross the road. I saw an uncle to whom I gave an innocent look.

I asked him to help me cross the road. He took me to the other side safely. I went down to her class. Her teacher passed me just then, I asked whether she had seen my sister or my mother. She said she didn’t know them. I started crying after I saw the door locked.

I banged it and shouted,”My mom is locked inside! Open the door! Mom!” Her teacher stopped me and it took her half an hour to take me out of there and leave me home. I went home crying but was puzzled when I found my mother waiting for me at the door. I told her the whole story.

She explained to me that my sister’s class had been changed to a different place and that when she returned I must have been at her music class. Now I am eleven years old and whenever somebody talks about this incident, we all laugh… … even me!
