Growing a Carrot

Have the children color their carrots.

.Cut a slit five inches long across the center of a sheet of paper.

.Below the slit draw a seed with roots.

.Place the carrot into the slit behind the paper.

.Watch the carrot grow as you slowly push it up. Pull the carrot from the ground.
