*Have each child bring a shoe box from home.
*Have the children paint the outside of their shoe boxes.
*The teacher should write the child’s name in glue on the lid of the box.
*The children can press yarn into the glue.
*Let this dry thoroughly.
*Varnish the boxes.
*The children now have their own place to keep glue, crayons, scissors and other materials needed for art projects.
