What Is a Gyrocopter?

What Is a Gyrocopter?

A Gyrocopter is a modern aircraft, which aside from its various usage features. Low functioning price, and special flight, today has become the safest flying device in the world!

We can fly lower and slower safer than most other forms of flying machines. We are also capable of flying in weather conditions which will ground most other sport aircraft.

It looks like a small helicopter but the main difference is there is no engine turning the rotors. The rotors simply self-propel (which we call “auto rotate”) due to the way that the air flows through them.

As the engine is not connected to the rotors, this means that a Gyrocopter is not seriously affected if the engine should stop in flight.

This, together with a very short landing roll (we can land in a very small open space, about the size of a putting green), means that a Gyrocopter is one of the safest methods of flying.

Gyro was not designed to replace neither a plane nor a helicopter, and still it proves its exceptional ”skill” in many areas. Such as special features both along the flight duration during work, and during recreational flights.

Is it easy to fly a gyrocopter? Gyrocopters are easier to fly as they only have three flight controls (rudder pedals, a throttle and a control stick) which is way simpler than a plane or helicopter, making it perfect for beginners who have never flown before.
