Once while I was traveling on the foot board of an overcrowded city bus, it took a sharp turn to the left.
The speed of the bus combined with the sudden turn made me lose my footing and I frantically clutched on to another passenger’s waist in order to regain my balance.
At that very moment a taxi came alongside the bus. I once lost my grip, tumbled over the bonnet of taxi and fell on the footpath on the other side. I was badly hurt and needed urgent hospitalization. I was thoroughly shaken up by this incident and gave up traveling on foot boards.
