Severe Earthquake

One fine night after finishing my supper I prepared my bed. I put off the light and went to the bed wrapped in a bed sheet.

In the early hours of the morning, I was awakened by a violent shaking of the bed, I told myself that perhaps I was still half asleep and maybe had a bad dream.

I thought of having water from my bottle lying near by, I stretched out my hand for the water bottle and saw the bottle dancing a jig! I was terrified. I wrapped myself from head to toe and started praying to god for deliverance from this terror.

It was only the next day I learnt from the news that a severe earthquake had jolted our region that morning.
