Copy Cat

I was studying in the third standard. It was the day of the math’s examination.

Our teacher warned Murari, the bully of the class not to cheat. But Murari who was sitting next to me threw all caution to the winds and copied shamelessly from me. After the examination we went to our homes.

When results were declared, we were astonished to know that Murari had got only 20 marks in math’s out of hundred. I insisted that he should have got at least 70 as he had copied nearly everything from me and I had got 70. At last the mystery was solved.

Our teacher described Murari’s policy. In order to be safe and not to be detected he had copied all the sums perfectly but had changed the answers slightly. Which was the cause for his downfall.
