My Tenth Birthday

It was my tenth birthday, we were not having a party as my elder sister was having her Board Exams.

Everyone knew that I always wanted something different on my birthday.

I always loved birthday parties, especially with my friends. On the day of my birthday as I went to school everyone wished me normally.

But at break as I came back from the washroom I saw my class really different.

A cake was lying on the teacher’s table which said “Happy Birthday Grisham”. The desks were all aside with snacks on them. Everyone bought gifts for me.

I cut the cake and enjoyed it, like i was having a birthday party with fabulous music from our school radio.

All this was planned by my elder sister. When I came to know about this I thanked my sister for making my party unique and memorable.
