Three Capitals

One day I participated in a geography quiz in which one of the questions asked was, What is the capital of South Africa?

I wrote the answer as Addis Ababa. When we received our answer sheets, I got a big cross near my answer.

When I looked at my friend’s paper, I saw the correct answer: Pretoria.

Then I saw another student’s answer that he too had got correct: that answer was Capetown.

Another paper I saw had the correct answer as: Petersberg.

I was confused as to which one was correct. I went to the teacher to clarify my doubt. The teacher told me that South Africa had three capitals. We all had a good laugh.
