Soccer Mishap

I was a participant in the football match that was being played in my school.

When there were only five minutes left for the game to finish, the score was 2-2. There was tension in the air. My teammate ran with the ball towards the goal. I too ran behind him. My shoelace got undone.

As I tripped on my lace and fell, the ball which had been kicked by my team-mate hit my head and went into the goal. We won the match and I was praised for my “Brilliant Dive.”
